2012 McLaren MP4-12C GT3 - Ex-Gulf Racing, Spa 24hr, Blancpain history - one of only two Gulf MP4-12C GT3s ever raced

Delivered new in early 2012 to Gulf Racing in the UK for use in the Blancpain Endurance Series, chassis 009 was soon competing in the blue riband GT3 endurance races such as the Spa 24hr with works drivers including Rob Bell. Having spent two years in Blancpain, taking in legendary tracks such as Silverstone, Monza, Nürburgring, Paul Ricard, plus a second Spa 24hr, chassis 009’s last-ever period race was an impressive 5th overall in the 2013 Gulf 12hr.
