- Beautifully restored to original specifications by marque specialist
- Rare early Periscopio example
- 1st in Class at the 2017 Salon Prive Concours d’Elegance
Chassis 1120028 left the factory in Italy in October 1974, and is now fresh from a recent detailed and extensive restoration with marque specialist back in its home country of Italy.
As the earliest and rarest iteration of the iconic Countach, it is no surprise that the LP 400 Periscopio is the most desirable variation over the 16-year production run. The LP 400 Periscopio design remains almost unchanged from that of the original concept that created such amazement at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show. Today, the Countach still garners as much attention as it did when new, and this particular example is surely one of the finest in existence.
This spectacular Countach is in stunning condition throughout, including its original engine, and it's certainly ready for both further concours event wins and enjoyment on the open roads.
